Pa My Village

Mường Nhé is a poor district which face many difficulties in Dien Bien province.
Mường Nhé district is home to 11 ethinic minorities. This is where ethnic Hmong people constitute a majority and the security situation remains very complicated.
On 30 April 2015, one volunteer group will come to Pá Mỳ – the remote area and the poorest village in Mường Nhé district.
From Dien Bien city, to reach Pá Mỳ village, volunteers need to experience 195 km ( nearly 122 miles) of  the sloping n dangerous road.
Severe weather conditions (freezing in the winter due to mountainous terrain) and lack of finance are another reason preventing children go to school. The children have to walk 3-4hours in the cold weather to come to class.
Almost of them drop out of school in the age of 15 or younger since they don’t have enough money to continue or they have to quit to help the family with farming.
The American Education Foundation will be donating notebooks, pens, and water.  We humbly ask you to please provide what you can in the list below to help these impoverish kids.
