Thuy An Project 2015

Thuy An Center, (A rehabilitation center for disabled children)

Located approximately 40km west of Hanoi, this center began its development over 29 years ago with the mission to take in and raise children affected from the war, orphans without families and children with disabilities such as autism.

The center has successfully created many departments and programs to facilitate with the rehabilitation, ongoing  development and recovery of all types of cases caused to the children but with their lack of resources from outside support there is only so much they can do, they need our help. From time to time the center receives voluntary support from foreigners who actually stay at the center and volunteer their time with the children’s rehabilitation and recovery. The center receives support from the government to provide the basic necessities of water, clothing, food and shelter but with over 200 children, it’s just not enough.  The goal of the center is to rehabilitate the children as best as they can which allow them to recover in an environment  that will support them to learn and develop the life skills needed and maybe one day leave the center in search for a new future.

On Jan 2015, a (Sing for Charity Event) will take place to raise awareness. A collection of resources and funding will be organized to support with the development and recovery of these children. Items are needed such as education tools, clothing and blankets, fitness or medical equipment for rehabilitation, wheel chairs or even a simple visit to show them love.

We thank you in advance for any support or contribution you would like to make towards our mission in helping the children in the Thuy An Orphanage. If you would like to support in some way, please send us a message on FB or website!

With Kindest Regards
