Our latest fundraiser aims to provide 300 students with school uniform, notebooks, pens, etc…
Many of our students are from very poor backgrounds and often attend class wearing old, worn or unclean clothing. We believe it’s important for every student attending to look smart, presentable and to like part of our school.
School uniform can:
1. Give students a sense of pride & belonging
2. Promote taking pride in appearance
3. Potentially improve behavior & attendance
Uniform is seen nowadays as a basic need for education and as an organisation we’d like to see all the basic needs of our students met. One uniform is estimated to cost around $5USD. Our fundraising target is to get 300 students supplied with uniform and school supplies.
We would like to thank our supporters of Hamatra Printing Co. that are providing us with their competitive cost of printing school supplies and Phuong Thao Co. that is offering us a buy one get one for the uniforms.
This is how we intend to raise the money. Our wonderful supporter of Vine Group has provided us with exquisite wine at a very generous discount for the holidays and all proceeds goes to funding this campaign.
